Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas – Aït Benhaddou – Ouarzazate – Dadès Valley
Your chauffeur will pick you up in Marrakech in the morning and begin the scenic drive across the High Atlas Mountains. The route climbs through the famous Tizi n’Tichka pass, offering breathtaking views of remote Berber villages and rugged peaks.
Our first major stop is the UNESCO-listed Aït Benhaddou, an extraordinary fortified village built from earth and stone and known worldwide for its appearances in major films and series. You will have free time to explore the kasbah and enjoy lunch in a local restaurant.
The journey continues to Ouarzazate, often called the “Gateway to the Desert,” where you will pause to admire the historic Taourirt Kasbah.
In the afternoon, we follow the legendary Route of a Thousand Kasbahs, passing palm groves and traditional villages before entering the beautiful Dadès Valley. Dinner and overnight stay in a charming hotel overlooking the canyon.
Day 2: Dadès Valley – Todgha Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, we drive to the spectacular Todgha Gorges, where towering limestone cliffs rise dramatically above a narrow riverbed. You will have time to walk through the gorge and take photos.
We then continue through desert towns and vast oases, stopping near Erfoud, a region famous for its date palms and fossil workshops, for lunch along the way.
In the late afternoon, you arrive in Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara. Here, you exchange the vehicle for a camel ride across the dunes as the sun begins to set.
At your desert camp, you will be welcomed with traditional hospitality, followed by a freshly prepared dinner and an evening under the stars with Berber music around the campfire.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Anti-Atlas – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Wake early to witness sunrise over the dunes, one of the most magical moments of the journey. After breakfast at the camp and time to freshen up, you begin the return route.
The drive passes through Rissani, an important historical trading center and cradle of Morocco’s ruling dynasty, then continues across vast desert plains and the Anti-Atlas mountains.
After a lunch stop near Kalaat M’Gouna or Ouarzazate, the journey continues back through the High Atlas to Marrakech, where your chauffeur will drop you off at your hotel, riad, or the airport in the evening.

Comfort Shared Accommodation
Ideal for solo travelers or those seeking the best value.
You will share the hotel room in Dadès and the desert tent with other guests of the same option. Separate arrangements for men and women are made whenever possible. This option is not available for travelers under 18.
Comfort Private Accommodation
Enjoy a private room in the Dadès Valley and a private desert tent in Merzouga, including an en-suite bathroom. Suitable for couples, families, or small groups (up to 4 people per tent).
Premium Private Accommodation
Our most exclusive option, featuring upgraded hotels and a luxury desert camp with private bathroom, shower, refined décor, and enhanced dining service. Desert tents can accommodate up to 5 guests.
All first-night stays are in carefully selected hotels or traditional kasbah-style guesthouses in the Dadès Valley or similar category.
The second night is spent in a Sahara desert camp in Merzouga. Premium and standard camps are in separate locations and offer different comfort levels.
Breakfast and shower facilities are available at the camp before departure on day three.
Hotel Pickup
Pickup is included for accommodations located within Marrakech.
For riads inside the Medina, a nearby meeting point may be arranged due to vehicle access restrictions.
Hotels outside Marrakech city limits may require a small additional fee depending on distance.
